INTERVIEW OUTFITS FOR MEN

When applying to any job it's important to look your best. It's best to avoid clothing that could be considered to be loud. Ties that have characters or noisy patterns would be considered to be too much. So what is appropriate interview attire?

FORMAL BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

When thinking about interviews, business formal is the typical dress code. If you're interviewing for a job that is a business formal environment, it is vital to get your outfit right.

These tips can help you make the right impression at your next business formal interview:

  • a single-breasted, two-piece suit in dark colors
  • a solid color suit or have small pinstripes
  • white or light colored dress shirts
  • a conservative tie
  • no bow ties
  • wear dark shoes
  • wear matching socks

    CASUAL BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

If the job you're interviewing for is in a position where the environment has a more relaxed dress code then business casual could be a good choice for you.

These tips will help you dress to impress for a business casual interview:

    • wear chinos or trousers

    • wear a button up shirt with a collar

    • wear leather shoes
